![]() By mistake I clicked the Givi's somehow and not the Kappas.įeb 9th I send back an email telling them I screwed up and that I would like to change the boxes out if possible and if not I'll just keep the Givi's. I don't know the difference between the two specifically but I wanted all Kappa bags and boxes. ( hey thanks for reaching out and telling me beforehand )ĭuring this time I was looking at the order list again and realized I ordered the Givi panniers instead of the Kappa panniers. ![]() They tell me that my racks are on backorder and won't be in for another week. Panniers, 2 top cases, racks, bags, plates and on and on.įeb 8th my order still shows "pending" so I fire off an email to ask what's up. Jan 28th I place an order for $1800 worth of stuff. I'll try to keep it short but it's not really. Has anyone else had issues with Motostorm? I have to send back the part at my own cost and they will exchange it, stating I ordered the wrong part for my particular model as I have the 20'14 model with an adjustable wind screen as opposed the the '14 model without the adjustable screen Revizilla has realised that it wont fit a S10 '14 (see pic), but Motostorm refuses to acknowledge their mistake even after I sent them the Revzilla pic as well as links to Yamaha website Motostorm's website clearly stated " for Yamaha Super Tenere '10-'17" (see attached pic - the writing on the pic is me trying to communicate the issue to Motostorm. Well here the fun starts, mototstorm refuses to acknowledge that there is NO Super Tenere 10-17, the model obviously changed in '14 with the adjustable windscreen being added as part of Yamaha's upgrade to the new models, both models Z & ZE Still, I'm coming out $200 ahead so I'm not too heartbroken about the long shipping time.I recently bought a Givi Air Flow wind screen, The shipping was delayed due to the December break, that's ok, however once the screen arrived it was clearly for the S10 '10-'13. I'll probably buy from them again knowing this. Once I opened the line of communication, they were quick to resolve the issue, so A+ there. I still wanted the boots, don't really care about color (hello red/white/blue!) so they should be here by Monday.įuture buyers should be conscious of the fact that Motostorm may not have the item you ordered in stock, and that they don't really take the initiative of contacting you about that. They told me that they wouldn't get that color/size until the end of June would have been nice to know after I ordered it.Īnyway, they offered to either change my order to a color they had in stock or issue a refund. A month went by with no communication, so I contacted them to see what was up. Unfortunately, they didn't have them in store said it would take 7/8 days to ship, to which I had no problem as they were $200+ cheaper than anywhere here in the US. I ordered a pair of boots form Motostorm a month ago. Like was posted before Paypal is your friend for foreign transactions. ![]() I mounted the dented Givi luggage box to the wall to use as a garbage can and also a reminder that just because it is cheap does not mean that it is a better deal! I finally ordered a case to replace the dented from a vendor in the US and now have way more in the set than if I had just ordered from a reputable US vendor in the beginning. I also found out afterwards that Givi USA will not warranty products sold out of country so I was stuck all the way around. In the end I paid about the same for a dented case that I could have gotten here in the US. ![]() Yes I had been fooled because I did not catch it the first go around. The Euro is worth more than the dollar so there is no way it can be cheaper than their Euro price. Their US price was cheaper than the Euro price. Their price is displayed in Euro but you can click on the US currency tab and the price will show in US dollars. I went and checked my credit card and found that I had been charged more than what their website had indicated. Basically I was told I was on my own but it gets worse. ![]() and if you think that sucks then try getting customer service from a vendor in another country. Three weeks later the luggage arrived and one of the cases was damaged. Like everyone else I like to save money where I can so I ordered some Givi bags from a Non US company in Italy called Motostorm because of their cheap prices you can find on their website. ![]()
